Finally, a minimal case that is a smidgen wider than the tablet….and stores the pen in the spine. This is the third case I’ve tried and it’s the charm. I tried a minimalist case that holds the pen on the back which I found annoying. Then I tried the OEM 2-piece version with the origami back. Didn’t care for that at all (bulky in addition to not lying flat). Then I ordered this one. It’s exactly the minimal cover I prefer and I find the magnets more than adequate. BTW, this design is identical the OEM Book Cover case I use on my larger Tab S8+. I’m certainly glad someone kept this design going. I’m careful with my tablets and the wake feature and pen storage along the spine are the only two features want/need in a case. The price and quality of this one are added bonuses. It’s the keeper.

This is an easy to use, lightweight case that works just as it’s supposed to. I wanted a case that adds minimal weight to my S9, has a cover, and has auto on/off when the cover closes and opens. I did not need pen storage, and I am willing to trade extra protection for lighter weight as I use the tablet almost always at home.

This case fills the bill. It’s not fancy but feels sturdy. The front is untextured and slick, and the magnet holding the tablet in feels strong enough. The tablet screen turns on when the case is opened and off when it’s shut as expected.

The case looks plain, and I’d like more color options. I also would prefer some texture on the front. However, there wasn’t many options for what I was looking for, and I think this does what I want for a reasonable price.

It looks good, albeit fairly plain. It’s holds well for the most part, but the magnets are weak to some degree. My tablet slides around a bit and I have to re-adjust it from time to time. The angles of the tablet l could also be better and could use one or two more. I might be nit picking with this one tho, the S-Pen wasn’t very secure in the holder. The magnet is not strong at all. However, I didn’t have any issues using the S-Pen with this case on, so that’s definitely a plus. I just wish the magnets were stronger for the hold, because one bump and it’s sliding right on out.

I have the Samsung slim keyboard cover, but I wanted a simple cover without the keyboard so I could fold it back and hold the tablet without the keyboard getting in the way. The cover attaches to the tablet magnetically, just like the Samsung, but unfortunately the magnet’s grip is much weaker. Several times it has let go, and the tablet drops onto the desk or my lap. At this point I’ve stopped using it, one of these days I fear the tablet will be damaged when it falls.

UPDATE: There’s no cover for the pen, which detached and fell on the floor. Unfortunately before I noticed this, the dog chewed it. Replacement pen cost: $60. I threw the cover in the trash and ordered a genuine Samsung cover along with the replacement pen.

Just looking for a cover to protect the tablet and to act as a stand at a table/desk. This works well for me.

I like the design because it reminded me of my iPad case unlike my iPad case the magnet is very weak. 3 days in, I ordered a new case already

The magnets are strong enough to hold the tablet and S-pen. The product appears to be made well and should last quite a while. So far, I’m happy with the product.

i was hesitant on buying this aftermarket covers here on amazon. but this one was surprisingly good. its magnetic which you dont see a lot of here and the quality is almost as good as the original 89 dollar samsung book cover. worth the money
